I had a blast last night at the media screening of WG Wines newest DVD coming out just in time for Christmas. The event was held at the Spoke Club in Toronto for writers and friends. The half hour interactive show was super for the novice sparkling wine drinker, it made me feel empowered to go out and experiment with the bubbly and share with my friends. I was amazing because I have seen Erin (aka Wine Girl) speak before but she was actually able to bring her personality through onto the show. Little tidbits like the comparison to a tires pressure of a semi-truck to the pressure in a bottle of Cava brought the teachings to a realistic language I not only can understand but remember. This is the second dvd in the series and more are promised in the new year. I’m looking forward to the beer education one.
