I absolutely loved this when I passed by while it was being created last week by Izzy at Books and Co. in Picton. It’s a life sized version of a snow queen made entirely of paper. It is absolutely beatiful and took my breath away with the detail – in a world where everything seems to be shifting online its so nice to see creativity shine through with something handmade, beautiful and paper! This makes hearing Christmas songs so early worth it.

This inspires me to see what I can do with the remains of the day on Christmas. Perhaps an Easter frock or porcupine-style ornaments for next year…paper is amazing. A friend turns paper into amazing sculptures and light shades.
